What a Standards-Aligned Approach Actually Means

ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, ITIL, TOGAF and PMI PMBOK show up in almost every institutional RFP we see, usually listed as a checklist of certifications rather than a working methodology.

In practice, adopting a standard is less about the certificate and more about the operating discipline behind it — asset inventories that stay current, incident response plans that get rehearsed, and change control that survives staff turnover.

Our approach is to scope each framework to what an institution can realistically sustain with its existing team, then grow the maturity level over time rather than attempting full compliance on day one and losing momentum six months in.
